Pet First Insurance

Pet First Insurance has mediocre prices. They aren’t exceptionally low or high. There is only one price, and it doesn’t seem to change based on the breed of your dog (they don’t even ask for the breed).

This leads me to conclude that the breed of your dog doesn’t affect your monthly price. So, if you have a Pedigree pet, then their plans might be cheaper for your pet.

You must get riders so that congenital and hereditary conditions are covered (which I think are important- depending on your breed).

There are a lot of Riders that you can purchase. For Routine care, Breeder, Prescription food and Heriditary and Congenital conditions.

Pet First Insurance

The Pet First Insurance is not based on a benefit schedule, so you get reimbursed for what you pay for.

One good thing to note, is that Pet First Insurance covers Breeding with the Breeding Rider. Most other insurance companies don’t cover Breeding, so if you plan on Breeding your pet, this might be a good plan and rider to get.

Below I have made 3 charts. One with the big overview and approximate prices. The second is about the Optional Riders. The last one is about all the plans and has much more detailed information.
