ASPCA Pet Health Insurance – Best information on ASPCA Pet Insurance!

Help your pet and the ASPCA at the same time through ASPCA Pet Insurance!

ASPCA Pet Health Insurance offers you pet insurance coverage, while donating 10% of your payment towards shelters and other animals in need.

My impression: Lady on the phone from ASPCA Pet Insurance was very helpful and informed. She made sure to answer all of my questions fully.

There are several companies with the exact same insurance plans and coverage as ASPCA Pet Insurance ; They are Premier, Hartville and PetsHealth care plans. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance is the main Company.

The only difference is that ASPCA Pet Health Insurance and the other company plans is that if you purchase with ASPCA Pet Insurance , 10% of your payment is donated towards ASPCA shelters (upto 1.6 million dollars for the next 5 years!).

ASPCA Pet Health Insurance doesn’t have a benefit schedule, HOWEVER, they only pay a % of what the ‘reasonable cost’ for an illness in your area should cost.

I would recommend paying the extra for the ongoing conditions, so that as your pet gets sick, the same condition will be covered throughout it’s life, otherwise there may be a lapse in coverage.

ASPCA Pet Health Insurance does not cover hereditary or congenital conditions.

However, they may cover some Pre-existing conditions. If an incident is diagnosed, treated, cured for more than 180 days, then this might be covered with ASPCA Pet Insurance .

Below are 2 charts on the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance plans and what they do and don’t cover.
